At the heart of the shoes is the water- and windproof Gore-Tex® Koala membrane to seal out the elements and this pairs perfectly with the Arctic GTX footbed that sees a four-layer aluminium and fleece construction working to lock in heat. And that's not the end of the cosy insulation, a thermally insulating coating is placed over the forefoot, ensuring your extremities enjoy the luxurious warmth of the rest of your foot and a Climaflex collar at the ankle, made with Gore-Tex Rattler® and neoprene gives incredible pedalling mobility and a final weather seal.

Power-transfer Maximised The Extreme RR 2 GTX Winter Boots aren't just about warmth, they'll ensure every watt is transferred to the pedals too. The Carbon Light sole, using a composite of carbon fibres and fibreglass gives an unbending platform when pushing on the pedals. The Xframe® patented construction of the upper works beautifully with the stiff sole, providing a snug fit devoid of pressure points and contributing to the amazing comfort and power transfer of the boot. With the SLW2 dial getting the fit perfect is also a cinch.
